Manor Buyers Are Comparing You To East Austin

Manor is fifteen miles east of downtown Austin and has grown quickly on the back of proximity: to the airport, to the Tesla plant on the Colorado, and to central Austin along 290.

It is a market defined by newer housing and value. Buyers here are almost always comparing Manor against east or north east Austin, and the calculation is the same one Buda buyers make on the other side of town: more house, newer, for less money, at the cost of some drive time.

  • Shadowglen is the largest, with a golf course and amenity center that are genuinely part of what people are buying there.
  • Presidential Meadows, Wildhorse Ranch, EntradaGlen, Stonewater and Bell Farms cover most of the rest: master planned family housing on standard lots, largely built from the 2000s onward.
  • Old Manor around the original town center is small, but the older stock has more character and photographs differently from the subdivisions around it.
