What An Industrial Leasing Shoot Covers
The office front a tenant arrives at, the finished office space, and the warehouse floor they are actually leasing.
Photographing A Building That Is Mostly Empty Space
A new warehouse is hard to photograph because it is empty by design. There is no furniture to give scale, the roof deck is a long way overhead, and the thing a tenant cares about, the clear height, the column spacing and the dock count, is exactly what a wide lens tends to flatten.
Shooting for the leasing decision
We shoot the warehouse floor from low and square to the column lines, so the spacing reads and the truss height is obvious. The dock doors get their own frames, because a broker will be asked how many there are and whether they have levelers. The office portion is shot like any other finished office, bright and straight, since that is where a tenant forms their first impression.
Industrial and office work across the metro
Office and warehouse buildings along the 71 and 130 corridors are a growing share of our commercial photography. This one sits in Del Valle, east of Austin near the airport, where a lot of new industrial space is being built. Matterport tours are available on the same visit for tenants who want to walk the space remotely.
